OUR STORY
2012
THE BEGINNINGS
Fed up with lousy fitness gear and ridiculous customs fees, we decided to shake things up. The market was full of cheap, uninspired products, with brands that felt empty and directionless. We weren’t about to settle for that. Our mission? To craft top-notch equipment that not only performs but also represents something real, pushing back against the bland and ordinary.
If it Doesn't Work, Fix it.
In 2012, Vincent and Martin decided to build their own gym in the back shed of their parents' house but soon realized they couldn't afford a good squat rack. So they built one. Their early version of the J72 squat rack was made entirely by hand, from drilling and cutting to welding and painting. After a few in-house training sessions, their first order came from a friend who wanted a custom squat rack with a pull-up bar. From there, demand grew rapidly. The brothers then invested $1,000 to convert the shed into a workshop, complete with a paint room that reached temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius in the summer. In the fall of 2012, a business partner offered them access to a 5,000-square-foot warehouse and professional tools, allowing them to expand their operation and improve their products. This was only the beginning.
